Simple Flowers

I was asked to make something very simple and plain in pink and brown and this is what I came up with. I coverd an 8" round yellow cake in brown fondant and used brown and pink fondant to cut out the flowers. I let them dry a little and then shaped them in the way I wanted them and placed them on my cake. With the left over fondant I rolled it out into long spirals and twisted them together to make the rope border. Once the cake was assembled I used my steamer to steam the cake and make it shiny!
