My cousin's husband called and said he was having a suprise party for his wife, bring a cake please! This is what we came up with. The bottom is a yellow cake with strawberry filling, buttercream icing and covered in brown fondant. I cut out circles in 2 shades of pink and placed them around the sides along with some gemstones I had. The top layer is yellow cake with chocolate icing and pecans for the filling. It is covered in pink fondant and strips cut out of brown. I then made different sized balls in pinks and browns for the borders. The 30 is regular white candle that you can buy at Wal-Mart. I painted over the yellow strips around them with a grey color I mixed up and then glued on the gemstones.
